I have had dogs my whole life however since moving out with children my family is yet to have one our own. We’re a very outdoorsy family - we spend a majority of our days doing woodland walks and at the parks. Your dogs will always be treated as though they’re one of my own and I’d always be happy to provide references from clients who note how quickly their dogs have warmed to me etc. I have experience with all sizes of dogs from small to XL and I am comfortable working with dogs that have reactivity and behavioural issues. I previously fostered rescues with dog reactivity so this is something I am particularly familiar with. Walks would be tailored to suit your dogs individual needs dependent on whether they love to chase balls or require on lead walks somewhere with plenty of places to explore and sniff. Katherine is a lovely and warm dog boarder . Our two Biewer Terrier had a wonderful time with her and the family when she looked after them for the weekend while we went up North for a family wedding x. We will definitely be using her again whenever we need a dog boarder x
Katherine accepted to look after my dogs despite it was a very short notice . The communication was very smooth and easy . Unfortunately, one of my dogs turn out to be not very good with children and we had to shorten the period for staying , but she gave us a great support by communicating with Rover's support team patiently so that we receive the refund for those dates . Thank you very much !

Schedule
I’m a stay at home mum, available 24/7 - so I would be able to accommodate your dogs needs, whether that was plenty of walks and outdoor activities or shorter walks and more mental stimulation inside, whatever you felt your dog would cope with best I can accommodate.

As a family we often spend a majority of our days outside. If your dog was comfortable with other dogs we love to explore with my parent’s black Labrador Rio who loves to play, we have doggy pools and lots of fun things to do in the garden there also for hotter days. I also rent enclosed dog fields/woodlands for run arounds, exploring and fun in a safe environment perfect for dogs that don’t have a safe recall🐾.
A typical day
I always insure my dogs receive plenty of physical and mental stimulation tailored to your dogs needs. I love walking outdoors but equally are happy to relax and play at home if your dog would prefer a more relaxed setting.

- If your dog has any specific likes and dislikes it’s important that I know prior to looking after them. This will help me to make sure they feel safe and comfortable. I’ll tailor their visits/walks depending on this!
