Pet care experience

Lifelong dependable dog lover

Animals have been part of my life since childhood. Friends, neighbors, and family have trusted me to care for their pets for decades, and as a dog mom myself, I understand how much trust it takes to leave a beloved pet in someone else's care. My Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Taylor, came to us at just 8 weeks old with Parvo. Caring for her around the clock until she fully recovered taught me patience, attentiveness, and how important it is to notice the little things that tell you how a pet is feeling. She's now a healthy, happy five yr old who loves other animals. I work remotely from the main living area of the home, so pets are rarely alone. My workspace allows me to keep an eye on them throughout the day and easily step outside for potty breaks, playtime, or simply some fresh air and companionship between meetings. They also can freely use the doggy doors to the yard. Whether I'm caring for energetic puppies, senior dogs, or those who simply miss their family, I follow their routines closely, provide lots of affection and enrichment, and send regular updates so you can relax knowing your pets and your home are in caring, dependable hands.

I’ve known Kathee and her daughter for almost a decade now. I’ve known their pup Taylor for 5 years. Throughout this time I have seen them care for and respect their pet. Taylor is a very sweet and happy dog who is well socialized. She loves other animals and people. Kathee and her daughter make sure she is up to date on her vet visits and vaccinations. They also ensure she has a healthy diet and maintains a healthy weight. She has about a billion toys. She’s not only a dog but she’s a family member, and I am confident that any pet in their care, short term or long term, will receive the utmost care, love, and respect.

Kathee has been absolutely wonderful with my senior dog, Elvira. Caring for an older dog with special needs takes patience, attentiveness, and genuine compassion, and Kathee has all of those qualities. She always makes sure Elvira is comfortable, sticks to her routine, and gives me complete peace of mind while I'm away. It's clear she truly loves animals and treats them like family. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Kathee to anyone looking for a reliable, kind, and trustworthy pet sitter. Elvira and I are both so grateful to have found her.

Schedule

I work remotely Monday through Friday, so pets in my care enjoy companionship throughout the day rather than being left alone while I'm at work. My desk is set up in the main living area, which means I'm naturally where pets like to spend their time. Whether your dog wants to nap nearby, play in the yard, or simply have someone close for reassurance, I'm there. I typically only leave briefly for my daughter's school drop-off and pickup, so your pets can enjoy a consistent routine with plenty of attention, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and cuddles.

Safety, trust & environment

I provide a calm, attentive home environment and closely follow each dog’s feeding, medication, exercise and sleeping routines. Our yard is fenced and provides plenty of supervised space for safe potty breaks and play. I have two friendly dogs, and I introduce all dogs carefully to ensure everyone feels comfortable. I can also separate or crate dogs when requested, including during meals, rest periods or when I briefly leave the house. I provide regular updates so you know your dog is safe, comfortable and well cared for. Please note that I do have a pool, so I will need to know whether your dog can swim or has any safety concerns around water.

Pets

A typical day

Every pet is different, so I tailor the day to their personality and routine. If they love adventure, we'll enjoy walks, sniffaris, games of fetch, and playtime in the yard. If they're more of a couch companion, I'm just as happy sharing quiet time while I work nearby. Because I work remotely, your pet will have companionship throughout most of the day with frequent potty breaks, meals on schedule, enrichment, cuddles, and plenty of one-on-one attention. My goal is for your pet to feel relaxed, loved, and comfortable until you return home.

The more I know, the better I can care for your pet! Please tell me about their daily routine, feeding schedule, medications, favorite toys, sleeping arrangements, potty habits, exercise needs, and any fears or anxieties (thunderstorms, fireworks, strangers, other animals, pool, etc.). I'd also love to know what makes their tail wag (favorite games, treats, cuddle spots, or little quirks) that help them feel safe and happy. My goal is to make your time away feel as stress-free as possible for both you and your pet.
