I started pet-sitting at the age of 12 and truly never stopped. Now at 35 and with a cat of my own, I understand the need for both quality care for your cat and clear communication regarding their behavior while you’re away. I’m happy to provide updates and photos during my check-in to provide peace of mind while you’re out of town.

Our dog warmed up to Katherine right away. She was flexible when we thought we would have to stay next tonight because my daughter was sick on her trip. She also helped us with our tortoise. She left the house cleaner than when she arrived. She is very friendly and easy to work with. We highly recommend her!
Katherine was a great house/dog sitter. She made sure out two active pups got lots of exercise and attention. She sent text updates throughout our vacation and made sure to keep us in the loop. Katherine is a reliable and flexible house sitter.
Our pets are pretty needy and a little high maintenance, but Katie was more than willing to not only put up with them (including sleeping on TOP of her) but seemed to genuinely like them. We came home to happy kids and Katie was such a thoughtful house guest that our apartment looked better than it did when we left! I can't recommend her enough.
Katy is very trustworthy, kind hearted, and responsible. She immediately made me feel comfortable about having her stay in our home and care for our two cats. I would work with her in the future!
Katie has been my friend and roommate for the past three years. Having seen her interact with and take care of her own pet bunny, sitting for another friend's bunny, and adopting a neglected young rabbit, it is clear that her gentle and loving nature extends to animals of all kinds. She grew up with family dogs and other pets, and understands how pets are true members of any family. Katie currently works for a nanny service in the Seattle area, and is responsible for taking care of children of all ages in various capacities. I know the care and love she shows in that job would translate to dog-sitting as well. She has one of the kindest souls and would be a great fit for your service.

Schedule
I currently work in-office and am available for check-ins between 4 and 9pm. I’m happy to travel within 10 miles of the Ocean Beach/ Point Loma area where I live and work.
