Hello my name is Katherine - I go by Katy I’ve been privately pet sitting on and off for almost two decades. I am currently taking a break from my career and have plenty of time on my hands to do what I love, which is care for animals. I enjoy walking small dogs, big dogs, strong pullers, slow walkers, avid sniffers, all of them. I am certified by the Red Cross in Adult & Child/Infant CPR and Cat and Dog First Aid and am confident I could provide care to a pet in critical condition while remaining calm if needed. I have a bachelors degree in teaching and learning from U of H. I know that doesn’t matter here for the cats and dogs — just worth mentioning. My rates are open to discussion let’s book a walk or a drop in visit; I look forward to hearing from you!

I send very detailed clear notes with at least 2-4 pictures on every rover card. I am easy to reach and respond quickly. I follow the clients’ instructions to care for their pets with the same kindness, love, and care I provide my own pets while respecting the clients’ wishes.

Katie was amazing with our baby, no issues at all with communications and we felt at ease while being away with the regular updates and pictures! Our cat is very sweet, but particular about some things hehe, and Katie made her feel calm and safe. Katie was fantastic! She was so kind and attentive to our cats, was very conscientious about cleaning the litter box and giving them fresh water. From all the photos she sent us, it was clear the cats enjoyed her company. We will definitely ask for Katie again and will recommend her to our friends and family.

Schedule
I am available to visit clients homes during the working day (weekdays and weekends) to provide walks or potty breaks to pets. We can discuss what you and your pets need and make it work!

- Please let me know anything specific about your pets so I can provide them the best care. I enjoy doing meet and greets, even digitally. If your pet requires any care outside of the norm we can discuss your instructions so all needs are met!
