Walking: I love to help pets meet their exercise needs! I can handle most any size and energy level dog, even if your dog is not well leash trained. I’m up for the challenge and can always make it work! Whether your dog requires lots of exercise every day or only needs a quick walk, I would love to help. Drop-In Visits: I am able to stop by at almost any time of morning, day, or evening to take care of your pets. Whether it’s bathroom breaks, walking/exercising, feeding, medication administration, playtime, or even just keeping your pet company. Anything that your pet needs while you are away, I would be happy to take care of it! House Sitting: Please message me for more details. I usually do not stay overnight at your house but spend all my time there when I’m not going to other Rover booking or running errands. I go to your house first thing in the morning and stay til late at night.

Information Katherine B. would like to know about your pet

If your pet is special needs or needs injected medication administered, I am not so far experienced with these areas, but am more than willing to try to do so after discussing it with you.

A typical day

When checking in on your dog, I normally take them on a walk or play with them outside the majority of the time so they can get out of the home and some energy out. I also like to play with them inside, especially after feeding because it involves less running on a full stomach. Toward the end of the visit, I give them lots of pets to start getting them to calm back down from the excitement before I leave. I also make sure they are fed according to instructions and have fresh water, especially after playing and walking outside.

Pet care experience

Use my promo code for $20 off your first service with me! Code: KATHEB89388 (applies to your first time booking on Rover only). I have always been an animal lover from the very start and have cared for pets since I was young. I spent much of my time growing up on a family farm, which exposed me to many different kinds of animals and the responsibilities that come with them. My family has also always had cats, and I now have two of my own. I also have newer experience taking care of my own dog over past two years. My dog is a large breed, high energy girl who I have devotedly cared for since she was 6 weeks old. Because of this, I can say that I am now comfortable and capable of caring for many types of dogs, no matter how energetic, large, or how young. I have always been someone who friends, family, and neighbors have relied on for pet sitting or handling tasks that can be difficult like administering medicine, trimming cat and dog claws, giving baths, and helping animals in any stressful situation. I have lots of patience and a gentle approach. I enjoy taking dogs on long hikes/walks several times per week and love being able to exercise with a dog, especially when it helps meet their needs.
