Pet care experience
Lover of all animals!
I am currently a Veterinary student, working towards my Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. Before starting school, l was the lead Veterinary Technician for 4 years at my veterinary clinic. The clinic I worked for was a mixed-animal practice that also saw many emergencies during and after hours. I have experience with large, small and exotic animals from working as a vet tech. I also have experience administering various types of medications to all species and ages, CPR training, knowledge with other emergencies, and experience doing farm chores. Growing up, my family always had giant breed dogs and cats, and I was responsible for helping to train and care for our family pets. I currently have 1 German Shorthaired Pointer, 2 cats, 1 leopard gecko, and 3 foster kittens. I have also fostered and trained 2 puppies and a special needs Cane Corso, all have now found their forever homes! I have experience with high energy dogs, giant breeds, senior animals, etc. I absolutely love all animals and cannot wait to meet yours!

Safety, trust & environment
At a client's home, I ask for detailed instructions on how the pets are cared for, what they are allowed to do inside the home as well as outside. I am sure to follow any and all instructions.
Ratings and reviews
Kat is great! Thanks for walking our boy!

Met Kat and she seems great and responsible. Our dog warmed up to her quickly! Hopefully we get to keep working with her!

Katherine did a wonderful job caring for our three furbabies. They obviously were very happy and relaxed while we were away. We loved getting the photos also. communication has been great both times Katherine has housesit for us. We would certainly hire her again.

After meeting Katherine for a meet and greet with my furbabies, I felt my four animals would be well cared for and happy while I was gone for six days. She was completely comfortable with the animals, has a ton of experience, and is working to become a vet. While we were gone, she sent photos almost every day, and even washed the towels and sheets used while she was staying at our house. We would use Katharine again.

Katherine has been a wonderful colleague to work alongside in veterinarian school. She is very compassionate about animals and knows how important the human-animal bond is. She has been very active with her foster dogs and her dogs of her own. She goes on daily walks with them and takes them all over to adventure and gets her foster dogs comfortable with the outside world. I would leave my pets with her any day as they would be in great hands!
I would trust Kat with any one of my animals, she is a thorough and diligent caretaker and will be sure that you animal is happy and comfortable. Couldn’t recommend her enough!
