I’m currently working part time so I’ll be home Fridays to Mondays for drop in visits, walks, or house sitting over the weekends. If you need a weekday I’m not usually available please let me know and I may be able to accommodate depending on the week.

A typical day
I love to go on walks or runs depending on your dogs energy needs. I’ll also do games inside and/or outside including fetch, toy hide and seek, tug o war. I always give lots of pets and loves when I see them; I’m the type that’s okay with face kisses ha! I love going to the park where there’s space to smell and play. If you’re comfortable with the dog park we can do that too! I’ll also be going on hikes frequently and can bring your pup along.

Pet care experience
I’ve been a dog owner my entire life and cared for dogs on my own for the past 10 years. I’ve had mainly border collies or a mixed breed. My fiancé and I currently own a border mix and German Shepard mix. My German has Addisons disease and I’ve learned skills caring for a more medically complex dog. I have experience with oral and injectable medications. I’ve also invested months into training my border mix Roo who is trained with an e-collar and loves it! I have multiple friends and family that have trusted me with their dogs care while they go to work or for vacations. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages and many breeds including German Shepard, Labrador, Corgi, Chihuahua, and Herding breeds. I am active and would love a walk, hike, or running buddy depending on your pets needs. If you’d like them to socialize I’d be happy to help by bringing one of mine along for a meet and greet.

Kate looked after my dog for almost a week and did a phenomenal job! He has severe anxiety and wears a belly band but Kate was so patient and kind when he had accidents or was nervous. She gave my dog lots of individualized attention and play time and even helped us start the process of crate training! I can't recommend Kate enough and I know my dog would be so excited to stay with her again!
Katherine is an amazing dog walker and sitter. Very responsible and attentive when walking Zi (my pup) being sure she is enjoying her time, but also not over heating or lagging too much and adjusts the walk to the dogs stamina/status. Zi is also deaf and Katherine makes sure to keep an extra eye on her when necessary such as approaching other dogs or off leash pets that come running. I would easily trust Katherine with my pup any day.
