In your home, I’m careful about: • Preventing door escapes by entering and exiting slowly and deliberately • Securing doors, gates, crates, and harnesses before and after walks • Following all household routines exactly as outlined • Keeping doors and spaces as I found them For cats specifically: • Extra care around entryways to prevent bolting • Checking closets, cabinets, and enclosed spaces before closing doors • Monitoring litter box habits and alerting owners if anything seems off • Keeping play areas free of potentially unsafe items For dogs: • Double-checking leashes, harnesses, and equipment (especially for escape artists) • Respecting boundaries such as baby gates or restricted areas • Ensuring a calm, controlled environment during visits and walks I keep detailed notes and send regular photo updates so you know exactly how your pet is doing. I also take pride in leaving your home clean, secure, and just as you left it. Your pet’s safety — and your peace of mind — always come first.

Katherine was such an angel. Our first time using Rover, and in a pinch, and Katherine made the process so seamless. She held a meet and greet with our puppy, Brownie, before we left, and provided such reassuring check-ins and pictures. Brownie had a few family members watching her while we were away, but I knew they weren't necessarily dog people, so Katherine swooped in and provided the loving cuddles and daily check-ins with Brownie that left her, and us, so happy.
