As someone who had a special needs dog for 17 years, I understand the necessity of having the right person care for your pup. Hi! I'm Kat. I'm 31 years old and I live in Guttenberg, NJ. I am a paralegal, a recent law school graduate but most importantly, an animal lover. Before having to put my senior dog down (2022), I devoted all of my time and energy to my little girl. We shared amazing times together as well as very trying ones too (visits to vets/emergency rooms and specialists all over the country). Krystal suffered from diabetes (injections 2x a day for 10+ years), blindness, arthritis, and a few other aliments. Still, none of these issues stopped us from having fun and living our lives to the fullest! Whenever I needed someone to look after Krystal, I went into full dog-mom mode to find an understanding, patient, loving and trustworthy person to watch her. So, as someone who has been there, I will ensure that I give the same level of devotion, care and attention I required for my fur baby, to yours. Kat is the best!! She was so kind and gentle with my pup. He was a little anxious at first and she was able to calm him right down. He was clearly so happy in all of the photos and videos she sent. It made me feel comfortable that my little baby was having such a good time while I was away.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in the small town of Guttenberg and have lived here for over 10 years. My family owns the home we live in and therefore there are no pet restrictions. There are plenty of great walking places in the area, including a county parks and several dog parks. I also have a private, locked and fenced backyard. No children are in the home nor are there other pets.
A typical day
Fun activities will include long walks, playing fetch, exploring new places in town such as the park, neighboring towns all while making new human and dog friends!
