Pet care experience

Providing cuddles & care 🐾

My veterinary training and hands on experience caring for animals in different settings help set me apart as a pet sitter. I graduated from Southern Technical College as a Certified Veterinary Assistant in 2022 and have worked as a veterinary technician in both an urgent care facility and a general practice. Before my schooling, I also gained experience as a kennel technician, where I learned the importance of proper handling, cleaning protocols, and daily animal care. Because of this background, I am comfortable caring for pets of all ages, including puppies and Senior pets who may need extra medical support. I can administer medications, monitor for health concerns, and respond calmly in emergency situations. Pet parents can feel confident knowing their pets are being cared for by someone with veterinary training and real clinical experience.

Kathy was a great sitter for my dogs and cat. My cat was very comfortable with her- which is unusual… he normally dislikes everyone. My dogs were well cared for and she sent lots of picts and updates!

I think Kathy would be a great dog sitter because I've seen how she is with animals. Shes helped care for my own dog and cats and has easily bonded with them fairly quickly. Shes even taught me a few things about my pets that I didn't even know. I think her personality is best fitted to become a really good dog sitter. Shes very patient and super super sweet with animals and such. And shes also very educated on them too, she knows lots about them :))

Kathy has been a friend of mine since our Freshman year of high school, I have gotten to know Oreo her puppy over the last few years and was amazed by the care and compassion Kathy possesses. A few months ago, I was connecting with Kathy and asking her about her experience working at a Pet Resort before, and she told me about the dedication she would take to wake up early every morning to give these pets the best service that they could receive. Not only is she an amazing friend and person to talk to, but I trust her capability to deliver the service that is asked of her.
