Huge animal lovers with big yard!
Hi! We are Kat & Kael. We’re animal lovers with 12+ years of experience caring for dogs and cats, both our own and for clients. I’ve utilised Rover as an opportunity to get much needed cuddle/play time with pets while also helping owners carry on about their day without worrying for their furry friends. We’ve cared after dogs of all breeds and sizes as well as special needs dogs, from 3 legged pups, to blind, from the elderly to healthy (and energetic) young dogs, to those needing to be administered medication. We’d be more than happy to help you care for your pet. Kale is at home full-time and I work remotely most of the week so we’ll have lots of time to give your pet love and attention. P.S. We are glad to answer any questions or concerns you may have and/or have an in-person meeting to meet you and your pet Kale is at home full-time, I work remotely for part of the week so we have tons of time to play with our Rovers! We have very flexible schedules and can’t wait to meet you. We have a very big, fenced-in yard where your pup can play and run freely (always attended by one of us, of course!). We also have a border collie mix boy to keep your dog company.

As always, Milo had an amazing time with Katherine and Cale. He always comes home exhausted from playing with all his friends. He can't wait to see his buddy bagel again!
Another great stay with bagel and Katherine! Mile always feels right at home and comes back exhausted and having had a great time. He can't wait for his next sleep over!
Kael could not have been nicer when we visited ahead of time to see if our dogs would get along. And his dog Bagel is a great host as well -- our dog Bo seemed very happy when we picked him up at the end of his stay.
Our dog Gadget had a great time and we really appreciated all the clear communication and flexibility when our flight time got changed!
Katherine and Kael have a great backyard that continues to be improved. You can tell that they love the dogs that they take care of. However, we're leaving a 2 star review due to communication issues. After our dog was bitten on the ear under Kael's watch, he did not take him to the veterinarian nor did he notify us of what was happening. We only found out once we arrived to pick Kif up 2 days after the incident. This injury did indeed requires veterinary care, including sutures, antibiotics, anti-inflammatories, and pain medicine, contrary to what Kael said and the actions he took. I would recommend them for short stays and if you book them for long stays, make sure you give absolutely explicit instructions for care, when to contact you, and when you want veterinary care should an incident arise. We feel that this shouldn't be necessary, but here we are and hence the 2 stars.

Schedule
Kael will be letting them join in on his regular morning walks with Bagel. Then again in the afternoon we both usually take him for another walk around the park together. Sometime we visit the dog park on the walk depending on how busy it is.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a huge yard with plenty of space for multiple dogs to enjoy time outside playing or sniffing around on their own. We have a crate if you’d like your pup to use it just let us know. We have pet gates inside to divide up the living space so everyone can have quiet time when needed.
Pets
A typical day
We are huge dog people! We have a dog ourselves so pets are allowed almost everywhere around the house. We love to play with dogs, we often do “scavenger hunts” around the yard using treats. Lots of fun! We also have a big park and a dog park nearby where we take pups for some extra play time.
