All animals are their own individuals with different styles - and I love learning each and every one :) While walking with dogs there is fine line between being walked by the dog and walking in tandem with the dog… I prefer the latter and do reign in pups when they loose attention for the walk but prefer to allow the dog to seek their own path… allowing sniffing is very key to their development and orientation. I also wipe paws and provide treats and water as needed on walks… When with cats - I listen to their feline nature and can interpret meows/slow blinking and learning their signals whilst feeding and cleaning litter etc…I’ve had lots of fun with cats jumping on my back and head as play -I listen for purrs and love when cats give head nudges affection;)
