Experienced w/ Rescue Cats & Dogs
I'm a lifelong animal lover who grew up with a small menagerie of pets. I also took care of my neighbors' dogs when they traveled. When I was 13, I started volunteering at my local animal shelter, where I learned how to handle cats and dogs with different levels of socialization. As an adult, I adopted a dog with severe separation anxiety and later managed his other health issues as a senior. I also rescued a feral kitten from the street and then foster failed with another kitten. So if your pet is a rescue and/or nervous around strangers, I will be sure to treat them with extra patience and care.

It is important that your pet feels safe and like their routine is minimally interrupted while in my care. While I may be a new face, I will be sure to stick to your instructions regarding their routine.

Katharine has been a great Rover w my dog. She got her to eat even tho my dog is very picky to eat when we are not home so that to me means a lot and tells me my dog felt safe and secure with her in their visits. I will definitely book her again.
I first met Katharine when a mutual friend wasn’t available to check in on my elderly cat while I was away, so Katharine filled in last minute. I knew she was great the moment I met her and I’ve used her ever since. Katharine brings a special touch, sending adorable photos of my playful, happy cat every evening, which is both charming and reassuring. No detail is too small to ask Katharine to consider; she is discreet, 100% reliable, she’s kind and has a sense of humor and genuinely enjoys my cat’s company. You can’t do better.
I’ve known Katharine for over a decade and have seen how much she loves caring for animals. She’s incredibly responsible and recently watched my dog and two cats while I was out of town, keeping to their very specific schedule and routine. I highly recommend her as a pet caregiver.

Schedule
I have a fairly flexible schedule at the moment, so I'm available for both one-time and recurring care for your pets. I would love to make their care part of my routine!
