Pet care experience
I'm just a human golden retriever.
I've been actively pet sitting for about 5 years now, mostly just for friends and family. I'm much more of a dog person but I have also taken care of cats while friends were away. Out of all of the dogs / cats I've met and cared for I haven't had many who didn't like me so overall I get along great with animals. People have told me that I have a special gift for befriending dogs! I grew up with dogs and a cat in my household so I am very aware that puppies and young dogs need consistency in their training, as well as for older dogs that they may have special diets / needs in order to provide the best care and would like the owner to inform me of anything important they would like me to pay attention to when walking / caring for their pets!

I am not able to take care of pets in my own home since I live in an apartment that does not allow pets (otherwise I would have one of my own!) but can care for pets in their own residence, which I find provides them better care overall since they are in an environment they are familiar with.

Katherine came in as a last minute save for our family before an international trip starting on a holiday. She was able to help us with a pick up of our pups and drop off at our boarders since wed be gone for two weeks. She also took care of our Kitties while we were gone and we are so grateful for her!
Amazing as always!! Calmed my stressed mama heart with extra videos and pics of my babes smiling and getting scratches. Even befriended our kitten! We all love Katherine in our household!
Kate was great with Piper! She went above and beyond, sent lots of picture updates, and made sure Piper felt like a queen. We will definitely use her again!
Kate is a great cat sitter and I would definitely choose her again if/when we need someone!

Schedule
I currently work a full time job from 7-4 but I can be available in the afternoons and some weekends when I don't have anything planned.
