I will care for your cats in your own home and will prioritize their routines and preferences. Each visit will include time to spend with your cat, playing, petting, brushing, or whatever they enjoy. (And if they are wary of strangers or shy, I will respect their need for space but still make sure they have everything they need.)

Let me know if your cat enjoys certain toys or games or if they are nervous around new people. I will meet them where they are and interact as they feel comfortable. If they have special medical or dietary requirements I will make sure I have detailed instructions to ensure the highest quality of care.

If your cat loves to play, cuddle, be brushed, or just be left alone, I’ll do whatever they like to make them feel comfortable and safe in your absence.

I have had cats my entire life and from a young age have cared for them. I’ve looked after cats from kitten to senior and am available to give them play, pets, pills - or whatever else they might require. I understand that your cats are your family and while you’re away, I will love them as though they were my own!

Any pet that comes into Katharine's (Kate's) life is bound to be loved and cared for, be they her own animals or someone else's. She can be gentle and tender with shy animals. She can also be firm and require discipline from wayward, headstrong creatures. Reliability and a strong sense of responsibility are core values for Kate. She will be our cat sitter for Winter and Bella once we move to Baltimore. You need not have any reservations about calling on her to care for your furry family members.
