I ask my families to make sure their pets are on current flea and tick prevention, due to my country setting. I have no breed restrictions but would appreciate upfront notification on any food aggression or sensitivities to touch (ears, belly, etc.).
A typical day
Miles of trail access. Walks or runs per request for boarders. My family is very active and we enjoy going on walks often. Tumwater Falls and Watershed Park are now our favorites.

Pet care experience
I am a Surgical Vet Tech with 16+ years of animal care experience, rehab/foster experience, and medical house sitting for pets who cannot travel with family . I have multiple dog friendly trails off of my property and I’m happy to ensure your fur babies are walked or even run with, daily, despite rainy weather. I have 1 personal dog that is a rescue and he is sweet and kind to all! Albeit a tad goofy! My children are very respectful of all animals and understand animal behaviors well.

KB does such an amazing job every single time. She's sends wonderful photos, videos, and updates. She goes above and beyond and our dogs absolutely love her (as do we!).
Our first time having KB in our home. She was beyond wonderful! She was so kind to our dogs and communicated throughout the day. I'm a very anxious dog mom and I'm usually just worried sick when someone else cares for them. That anxiety was not an issue after seeing how careful, gentle, thorough, and kind KB is. Thank you SO very much. We will definitely be booking again.
KB was so wonderful with our animals! Our pup can sometimes be standoffish, but they immediately loved KB. Her experience was evident and you should feel comfortable leaving your animals in her hands! We have three senior animals (a dog and two cats) and she took great care of them, including giving meds, providing exercise and walks, and sending frequent picture updates.
Katharine was so helpful and made all of my worries go away about leaving my dog for the first time. She sent frequent updates and I know my pup was very loved while I was away. I will definitely book her again!
