I have no breed preferences. These are a few things I'd like to discuss during our meet & greet: Does your pet have any health issues that I need to be aware of? i.e allergies, dietary restrictions, regular or emergency medicine, separation anxiety or behavior triggers Does your pet have a exercise schedule they enjoy? How does your pet prefer to sleep at night? (If we are booking an overnight stay) Does your pet have a favorite spot to starch or favorite toy? How does your pet handle a leash? Is your pet an "escape artist?" Have you worked with a pet sitter before? Anything you enjoyed or disliked? Do you have a vet nearby that you trust? Are there any neighbors you should inform of my stay so they will not worry about a new person in your home?
A typical day
I love taking walks and will love to take your dog along with me. Also car rides can be a lot of fun if the weather is right. I love off the leash parks, however, even if your dog is trained for them, I prefer to wait until after multiple visits to build their trust in me first.

Hello! My name is Katie, and I have over 18 years of pet-sitting experience. I believe that keeping your dogs and cats at home can really help calm those nerves, for both you and them. I am happy to help ease their stress by keeping the same routines, providing extra cuddles, and focusing my energy on them. Regarding their diet, I have no problem with kibble, wet food, raw food, or freshly cooked food. I am excited to be back on Rover! While I was away, I got married and beat cancer!!! To help ease your stress, I love to send photos and text updates, daily, as well as phone calls upon request. Regarding your home, I have experience keeping a kitchen kosher, vegan, and/or gluten-free and am happy to do so in your absence. I am also happy to pick up your mail, water plants, and take care of other basic household needs like cleaning up accidents and scooping litter boxes daily. I have cared for puppies from birth through end-of-life care, and I will treat them as if they were my own. I am also open to caring for cats, hamsters/rats, fish, and lizards (as long as their diets don't include anything living). I can't wait to meet you and your pet! Please note that overnight stays are for 24 hours. If you need me to care for your pets for an additional day (after 8 am), please also book a "drop-in visit" to cover that extra time. Best pet sitter ever! Our kitties receive the best care especially the one that’s elderly and have a mind of her own.
This is our umpteenth time with Katherine taking care of our dogs. We have recently lost one of our pups and Katherine has become part of our dog’s lives and was so sweet and caring with our loss. She is always communicative, prompt, and our pups definitely love her. Katherine has been our go to for several years now and we have always know our pups are in good hands with her!
Katharine always does an amazing job with our pups! They are both older, and she is so mindful of their different needs and habits, which makes us feel so confident leaving them in her care. Truly a wonderful sitter!
