I worked at an animal hospital while also serving as Rescue Coordinator for a no-kill rescue. I do not bring other pets or people with me, ensuring your pet gets my full attention. With experience in both an animal hospital and a rescue setting, I am confident handling pets with different needs, administering medication, and following care instructions exactly as provided. I worked closely with Katharine for years at a veterinary rescue. There is no one I trust more to take care of my pets than her! She is diligent in communication and feeding proper amounts with proper supplements and/or medications. She loves running/walking and will be happy to give your dog the exercise they need! Most importantly, she loves dogs and cats and will take the time to make them comfortable and happy.
I am happy to recommend Katharine Kellogg as a caring and responsible animal caregiver. She has a big heart for working with animals and we helped support her work as Director of the Colbert Veterinary Rescue Service, a no-kill shelter, for almost 2 years. In that role she spent alot of time training dogs to improve their ability to be adopted. She even adopted one of the dogs that had been at the shelter for several years because of extreme shyness from likely earlier abuse. I have seen her dog slowly come out of her shell to become a loving pet and live in a home where she is loved. I think Katharine's work at the shelter with lots of different personalities of dogs and cats and her role in finding them their forever homes is exemplary. She is very trustworthy and responsible and you can be confident that she will take excellent care of your pet.
Katharine has worked as a vet tech at an animal hospital for several years. While she was at this hospital she was also the rescue coordinator and worked on taking care of all of the dogs and cats in the rescue, and finding them their forever homes. Katharine dedicated so much of her time to these animals, coming in early/ staying late to make sure they were properly cared for. Katharine is a pet mom herself and puts so much time love and energy into taking care of all of her fur babies. I have trusted Katharine to watch and take care of my pets many times now. When they are in her care I am never worried because I know they are in the most competent hands possible. With the amount of experience, patience and loving care that Katherine offers, you’d be hard pressed to find anyone better to take care of your pets!

Schedule
I work part-time weekend nights, which means I have plenty of availability during the week and throughout the day. My flexible schedule allows me to provide reliable care, whether it’s daytime check-ins, walks, or extended visits. I’m also available for overnight care during the week.
