Hi! Thanks for stopping by. Allow me to introduce myself: I'm a (mostly) retired nurse & former farmer, offering a homey stay for your dog. I'm experienced with livestock, birds, all sorts of creatures. Your dog will enjoy the ideal location of my comfy home--its sunny decks, and fenced yard-- nearby to beaches, off-leash Quarry Park, and the recreation and coastal paths. You can enjoy your time away, knowing your pooch is having a great time at my place.

Katharine was a last minute lifesaver on our vacation! We had plans to go horseback riding & leave our boy at the hotel but the night before, he was barking & whining when we’d leave him just to go to the lobby. First time Rover users, we found Katharine & instantly heard back from her. Any helicopter mom anxiety I had dissipated the moment Katharine came out to meet us at the car. Katharine has an amazing, warm energy that let me know our son & his anxiety would be well taken care of & managed. I didn’t feel like I had to worry about him the whole time we were gone - what an unexpected relief! Thank you so much for being there at a moment’s notice. You & the feeling of security you left us with ended up being the best part of our trip! Highly recommend!

Across the board excellent
I have known Katharine for more than 10 years and have spent a lot of time with her, and her dog-as well as witnessed her interactions with other people and their pets. Katharine truly loves and understands dogs. She provides a warm, caring and safe home for animals, as well as an environment that is playful and enriching. I would not hesitate to trust her with my pets ,as I know, she always has an animals best interest in mind.

Schedule
I'm at home days & evenings, close by to the critters. Semi retired now, I'm able to dedicate myself to a pet-centric life, to the benefit of all.

My home is set up for comfort--making the most of this idyllic coastal environment. Low windows at the front allow the dogs to observe those passing on the street. Two sunny decks connect to my fenced yard, providing a secure, relaxed environment. I am steps from the rec & coastal paths, dog-friendly Quarry Park, the harbor & coastal beaches. Enjoy peace of mind during your time away! Your dog will be a valued guest in my pooch-centric home.
Pets
A typical day
My routine revolves around my own dog, and any others I have the privilege to host. A typical day includes frequent tummy tickles/ head pats, chew toys, napping in the sun, strolling the neighborhood, exploring the yard, romping at the park or beach. Dogs enjoy a full meal morning and evening, with small, healthy treats at midday and bedtime.
