I started pet and house sitting in 2015 and have loved caring for furry, feathered, and even scale-y friends ever since. As a farm kid through and through, I'm comfortable with animals of all shapes and sizes and have experience caring for nearly every type of pet you can imagine. I don't shy away from big animals (or big messes!) I recently completed my graduate degree and became a nationally certified Physician Assistant. While my training is in human medicine, I have experience caring for pets with complex medical needs, including administering injections, medications, and subcutaneous fluids. I understand how important it is to have someone reliable and attentive caring for your pets, especially when they require extra support. At home, I share my life with two cats, Winston and Franklin, one of whom is an FIP survivor. That experience has given me a firsthand appreciation for the trust pet owners place in their caregivers and the peace of mind that comes from knowing your pets are in capable hands. While I am currently unable to board pets, I am happy to provide care in the environment where your pet is most comfortable- their own home! I strive to maintain your pet's normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications, and plenty of companionship. I treat every home with the same respect and care that I would my own, and I understand the trust involved in leaving both your pets and your home in someone else's hands. My goal is to ensure your pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away, so you can travel with peace of mind.

Katie cared for our senior cat while we were on vacation. Administered oral meds and sub-Q fluids daily. Outstanding care for our two cats and our lab. Extremely loving, responsible and trustworthy!!!

Schedule
Having recently completed graduate school, I currently have a very flexible schedule and can devote substantial time to caring for your pets. This allows me to provide attentive, personalized care and maintain your pet's normal routine as closely as possible.
