I am very fortunate to have a flexible work from home schedule where I structure my own day. As far as Rover goes, I can fit your dogs and cats in throughout the day. I am looking for more opportunities to get outside of my apartment in the mornings and during the day and I can’t think of a better way than spending time with new furry friends. My own pets are centered throughout my day at morning, lunch, and nighttime when I prioritize time for food, cuddles, and play. I’m happy to make your best buds a part of my routine!

Pet safety and care is my top priority! When it comes to dogs it’s important for me to be familiar with the areas their parents are comfortable with their pet going. Backyard play, leash on walking, and indoor belly rubs are always done with care and attentiveness. I know how much dogs love to find trouble, so I make sure to always keep an eye on them. Things also change depending on the weather! I’m from Arizona and am familiar with putting safety boots on dogs and bringing water wherever I go so their paws are safe on a walk and they can stay hydrated. My approach to cat care is similar in regards to keeping my eyes on them and being attentive to their needs. I know some cats respond really well to new people and I will be ready to play with them to their hearts content. Other cats, like my own, can be a bit scared and timid. So regardless, I make every attempt to create a calm, loving, and gentle environment until they feel comfortable enough to get to know me. At the heart of it all is understanding that all pets have boundaries and respecting them is the best way to ensure their safety and comfort when I provide care.

A typical day
I love a nice nature walk and could use a companion to do so! With me, your dog and I will go on walks to explore the neighborhood, play catch in the back yard, and spend time getting into other games! I would be so excited to play games with your cates, birdwatch, or just relax together while you’re away.

Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover who’s cared for just about every kind of personality you can imagine—from energetic huskies and lovable pit bulls to loafy indoor cats and adventurous outdoor explorers. I’ve watched corgis, big dogs, small dogs, shy cats, social cats… basically, if it has fur, I’m a fan. The best part of my day is spending time with my own two cats, Merlin and Rhysand, who have perfected the art of ruling the house and keeping me on my toes. Because I work from home, I have lots of flexibility and can give pets the attention they deserve—whether that’s a long walk with a new furry friend, playtime in the yard, or quality indoor time with your cat’s favorite toys. I’m reliable, attentive, and genuinely love getting to know each pet’s unique personality. I’d be so excited to care for your cat or dog and make sure they’re happy, safe, and well-loved while you’re away!

Katharine has been a great blessing to us while she’s lived in Oxford. Our dog, Kip, absolutely adores her. She treats him like her own and sends us plenty of check in photos and updates while we’re away. Could not recommend Katharine more!

Katharine is awesome! We had a last minute Saturday overnight trip to see our daughter and son-in-law and needed someone to look after our dog, Tasha. We don't do crate boarding so we needed someone to either take Tasha into their home or come dog sit at our house. Katharine responded very quickly to our sitter request. She stayed at our house and took great care of Tasha. Walked her several times a day, played with her, and made sure she got her meals and plenty of water. Tasha told me afterwords that she really enjoyed Katharine taking care of her. We will definitely use Katharine again!
Katharine took excellent care of our pup, was very thorough with her visit notes, and communicated promptly to any questions we had.
