My name is Katharine, and I have been actively involved with dogs my entire life. I started handling dogs for show when I was ten years old. Dogs are one of my greatest loves in life. Currently I am pet parent to two Schipperkes. Meeko and Vader. They are challenging, and keep me on my feet. Meeko is agility, and obedience trained, while Vader is a show dog I’ve worked to campaign and he is one point away from his championship. I’m also an active volunteer/foster parent with a local Long Island Dog Rescue. I have experience handling all breeds, and sizes, as well as dogs with medical, and behavioral needs. Most recently I’ve had several senior foster dogs, and dogs with behavioral needs. I look forward to meeting you, and your dog *Note for drop in visits if I have multiple pet parents they will be accommodated in the order they have booked for timing. Priority will be given to animals who require medication or have extenuating circumstances.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a full fenced in yard, and three dogs for your pet to play with. In your home I will do my best to leave it looking better than it did before I arrived. Please note that I can not guarantee exact timing for drop in visits. It will vary depending on the needs of other pets on my schedule. I will make the best effort to accommodate your timing request but if I have dogs that require medication or have other needs at that time I will prioritize them.

Katharine was awesome! She came to the rescue when our original plan fell through for someone to drop in and care for our dog while we were out of town for the day. Each drop-in, she was right on time, left thorough notes, and sent us photos. We sincerely appreciated her friendly demeanor and willingness to take on our last-minute request; we're so glad it worked out and we wouldn't hesitate to contact her again. Thank you Katharine!
Katharine Has watched our 4 year old pup. Several times. Remi is always excited to see her. We feel score in traveling knowing Katharine is there to care for Remi. She is attentive, loving, responsible, caring and communicative. She sends pictures. Will continue to use her to watch Remi. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to her if you are in need of a sitter.

Katherine was great. She was a good communicator, punctual and lovely. She sent us pictures that eased our minds. She was flexible and patient with an error we made when booking. Our dog took to her immediately in the meet add greet. We felt comfortable in leaving our baby with her and look forward to using her in the future.
Another worry free vacation thanks to Katharine. Once again she watched our pit mix Hercules while we were away. Every visit we received photos and updates. We have already scheduled with her for another trip we have coming up. Thanks Katharine!

Schedule
I am a remote worker, as is my husband. So we are home during working hours with our three dogs. Your pet will be out with us unless otherwise requested by you.
