I grew up in a home full of animals, with two cats, a lovely Jack Russell called Scooter, and a Hungarian Vizsla named Oscar. I’m from New Zealand and grew up around lots of different types of animals (one of my photos is me with a pet possum!). Being around pets has always been a big part of my life, and I’m comfortable caring for dogs and cats of different sizes and personalities. Throughout high school and university, I also walked dogs for local families, so I’m experienced with handling dogs, keeping them active, and making sure they feel safe and happy while you’re away.

Kath has been walking Socks for the last few weeks while I've been at work and has been really accomodating with my schedule and any delays on my end. She’s very punctual and obviously loves dogs, and was really attentive with my preferences for Socks. Thank you!
Bertie had a great time and I got loads of photo updates. Kathrine asked lots of questions about his care and we felt really happy to leave our boy with her. She is really quick on comms and it made it easy to book with her.
Kath is very communicative and reliable. She answers really quickly and sent me lots of photos of my little cutie! Rave can be a bit hyper which means he does get into some naughtiness but Kath is able to relax him and be firm. We were really lucky to have her help us out. Would recommend her services.

Katharine was so great with Monty - I immediately know he was in good hands! Even though Mont was being a sulky boy at first, she met him where he was at and he warmed to her immediately. Katharine kept me really well updated with their day and I felt super comfortable knowing the big man was having a great day with her. I’d definitely recommend!

Schedule
I work from home part time, which gives me plenty of flexibility to fit pet care into my daily routine. I’m available for walks, drop in visits, daycare and overnight stays, and I’m happy to work around your pet’s usual schedule. I also go for runs most mornings and evenings, so if your dog enjoys a good run or a longer walk, I’d love to take them along.

Safety, trust & environment
I always aim to keep pets happy, comfortable and settled by sticking as closely as possible to their normal routine. At my home, I have a secure, high fenced garden with a locked gate where dogs can safely enjoy some outdoor time. I also live just a 10 minute walk from Victoria Park, which is perfect for walks, playtime and exercise. When caring for pets in their own home, I respect their routine and environment, making sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, affection and care while keeping their home tidy and secure. I know how important it is for owners to have peace of mind while they’re away, so I treat every pet as if they were my own.
A typical day
A typical day with me is relaxed but active, depending on your pet’s routine and what they enjoy. I work from home part time, so I’m able to give pets plenty of company and attention throughout the day, with regular toilet breaks, walks, playtime and plenty of cuddles. I live close to Victoria Park and enjoy getting out for walks, but I’m equally happy having a quiet day at home with an older or more relaxed dog. I’ll always follow your pet’s usual routine, including feeding, medication and any specific instructions, and I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages so you know how they’re getting on.
