I've had dogs all my life. Growing up, I cared for my English Bulldog, Scout, who needed specific attention to her skin folds and ears. That type of care taught me to be thorough and gentle with dogs who have special grooming needs. I've also worked hands-on with training, including teaching my sister's Border Collie to clear hurdles. Over the years, I've dog sat for a wide range of needs and breeds. I'm experienced administering daily medications, including heart medication and anti-anxiety medication, and I'm comfortable caring for dogs with degenerative conditions that affect their balance and mobility. If it's a toy breed or a large working breed, I adjust my care to fit each dog's size and health needs. I'm comfortable walking, grooming/washing, and any additional support they require.
