Home full time - big fenced in yard
I've always been an animal lover. I currently have two cats and a Doberman. I worked at an animal hospital for 7 years as a vet tech so I have a great passion for animals. I changed professions to be home more with my kids, which allows me to have a lot more flexibility. I think this is a great opportunity to take care of your fur babies while you're at work or on vacation. I know what it's like to be worried or concerned about your pet when you're away and if they're here with me, you won't feel either of those things! They will be loved and cared for as if they were my own. They will also get the exercise they need in our large fenced in yard. I appreciate your consideration!

Katey and her crew were very loving with Reggie! She kept us consistently updated and we knew that Reggie was being well taken care of.
We love Katey! Always easy to drop Kenzie off with her knowing Kenzie will have so much fun with her doggie friends!

Schedule
I work from home full time so I am able to keep your pet company when they're here. I do have school drop off and pick up duty when my kids are in school so I'm gone for short periods of time for that. My two kids love helping me take care the dogs that stay here!

Safety, trust & environment
I will follow your house rules so your pet keeps to their routine as best as possible. If you don't crate your dog at home, then they are not crated here either! I do not have room in my bed for any dogs, however. But I usually place a bed on the floor next to me and they do just fine!

A typical day
I do have a big yard so the dogs run and play outside a lot. When my kids get home from school they usually like to run with or throw a ball for the dogs.

- Your dog must be kid friendly and cat friendly. My Doberman, Kona, can be a little intimidating. We always meet outside to decrease the territory factor. At our last couple of meet and greets she did growl and bark at the dog we were meeting, but once we walked around outside with the new comer she was fine. We even came inside the house and she did great. I feel like now that she's a little older she wants to make sure it's known that this is her house. She's been sharing her house with other pups since she was 9 weeks old so she is well socialized!
