Hi, I’m Kate! I moved to Canada in 2022 and work as a photographer (Instagram: Verheles.photo ). Since I mostly edit photos from home, I’m around almost all the time when I host pets. My husband and I had a dog back in Ukraine, and now we dream of having pets again because we love them so much. Rover gives me the chance to care for dogs and cats, and I couldn’t be happier to share that love!

Kateryna was absolutely wonderful, and I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter for Helios. On the day of the handoff, everything that could go wrong went wrong on my end — delays with friends, a frozen car, and unexpected complications — which almost caused Kateryna and her husband to miss their Valentine’s Day dinner plans. Despite this, Kateryna was incredibly kind, patient, and flexible. We worked together to find alternative ways to complete the handoff, and both she and her husband were genuinely helpful and understanding throughout the process. Helios is still a puppy, and not everyone can make him feel safe right away. What really stood out to me was how calm and comfortable he was the moment he entered their home. He settled in immediately and began interacting with Kateryna on his own, which speaks volumes about her gentle energy and natural connection with dogs. I’m deeply grateful for her care, warmth, and understanding. I would wholeheartedly recommend Kateryna to anyone looking for a sitter who is not only responsible, but truly kind and trustworthy.
Kateryna was fantastic! One of my cats requires oral medication which can sometimes be difficult, but she had no issues with this and both of my cats seemed super content around her. I especially appreciated her photo updates with each visit! Would absolutely recommend her services, and consider her for my own future cat-sitting needs :)

Kateryna was great. Mugabe took to her right away and if he could talk to me I am sure he would say he loves her. She sent me updates and pictures and was responsive to a late change in our booking arrangement. Highly recommended.

Schedule
I study English in VCC and doing photography. So, sometimes I can do professional portraits for your pets as a compliment. My husband works from home and be happy to have a friend at home. No one gonna assist me with care.

I have townhouse wish two bedrooms (no backyard), it’s enough space for pets. My place has two floors, so make sure that your pet will be fine with the stairs. Next to my home is dog park, this place is beautiful for long walk.
A typical day
I start the morning with a walk for dogs or some gentle playtime for cats. Throughout the day, there’s plenty of attention, play, and cuddles (if they want them!). For dogs, that means extra walks and games; for cats, it’s all about respecting their space while keeping them happy. I’ll follow their routine, keep their area clean, and make sure they feel safe and loved until you’re back!
