Hi, my name is Katie! My passion, love, and experience working with animals of all kinds since before I could remember has lead me to a career working in veterinary medicine. Graduated wildlife biologist, and current vet tech student, my experience ranges from neonate kittens, to senior dogs, all the way to angry birds, and bloated fish; I have seen and worked with it all. Working on the rehabilitation of wild mammals has sparked in me a love for medicine, and I decided to return to school. My current experience working alongside a vet for many years, allows me to care for your sick pet while you are away, without worrying about having to get their treatment done by someone inexperienced. I have professional training in medicating animals both with oral medication, as well as injections. If necessary. I have owned and worked with various animals, such as dogs and cats, but also many exotic species like different lizards, snakes, fish, and small animals such a guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, mice and rats, as well as amphibians like frogs and axolotls, and birds of all kinds. I look forward to caring for your furry (or scaled) friend, and putting you at ease while you are away, knowing they are in great hands!
