I’m currently in graduate school, so while I am taking classes and working part-time, my schedule is often flexible. I am happy to accommodate you and your pets’ schedule to the best of my availability. I try my best to update my rover calendar, but please know it may not be 100% accurate as my work schedule is weather-dependent.

I am flexible and hope to meet the needs of each individual pet and owner. I am happy to come to your home, or take your pets outside in various parks or beaches around town. For your pet’s safety and well-being, I exclusively walk dogs on a leash. I prefer not to use retractable leashes and can bring my own leash if necessary. I require a meet and greet prior to all first time clients. While taking care of your pets, I keep my phone notifications on and respond promptly.

A typical day
I like to get to know each individual pet, customizing my day based on their needs. For a high energy dog, we might go to the beach, take a long walk, and play with toys at home. For a shy cat, I might sit calmly near them, allowing them to approach me on their own terms. My goal is to make pets feel as comfortable as possible while their owners are away.

Since I was a kid, I have loved all animals. I was fortunate enough to learn how to take care of multiple pet cats and rabbits in our home. I previously volunteered at a bird rehabilitation center, and interned with a sea turtle conservation group in order to help save hatchlings. I also assisted my family in training our pit bull, who was adopted as an extremely anxious and reactive year old puppy. With compassion and patience, he is now a confident adult dog. In addition to pet-sitting, I currently volunteer at the animal shelter in my spare time, providing enrichment to dogs of various ages, breeds, and temperaments. I have taken care of a variety of pets, from cane corsos to chickens. I love spending my time with animals and will make sure I do everything to keep them entertained and at ease. With each animal I meet, I aim to understand their needs and behavior in order to provide proper care.

Kat was very friendly and professional, and most importantly our dog loves her. She spoiled him and took him on his favorite walk (he is strong and a pain to walk but she knew how to handle him and was not intimidated by it at all). she sent us pictures and I felt totally at ease while we were away knowing she was taking care of Rocco. I came home to a clean house and a very content dog so we will definitely use her again!

Kat was awesome while dog sitting Mabel overnight in our home! She texted us many pictures, asked us if questions if needed, and even kept us updated on Mabel’s skin issues and found solutions. Mabel seemed really happy while being in Kat’s care and we couldn’t thank her enough for taking such good care of our girl.
Kat is an excellent dog walker! She made sure our Mabel got all the exercise she needed during the day, and even stayed inside with her while it was raining to allow her to have socialization while our daughter was at work. Kat is very communicative and kept us updated on Mabel while she was walking her!
