Keeping your pets comfortable, wherever they are, is a top priority. Whether that’s making sure they have their favorite toys, additional blankets, or extra treats, I am happy to do what makes them feel at home while their people are away.
Information Katera B. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your pet has any medical conditions or behavioral issues that I should be aware of. Please provide your pet’s regular veterinarian information.
A typical day
It’s important for pets to be stimulated both physically and mentally, so when taking care of them, I always make sure there is a good amount of “play time” with their favorite form of enrichment (a kong toy, puzzle bowl, etc.). Most pets follow a routine, which I am happy to learn. I am also able to help with basic grooming (baths, brushing, and nail trims) if that is something they need.

Pet care experience
I have always been passionate about animals. Growing up, I had all kinds of pets (dogs, rabbits, fish, and reptiles). Throughout college, I worked at several different zoos and aquariums, and after graduating with my degree in biology, I began a career in veterinary medicine as a veterinary assistant (which is like a human nurse, but for animals). I developed a passion for helping pet parents give their pets the best quality of life possible. I value continuing education and am currently in school to obtain my veterinary technology degree and license. I am also fear-free and BLS certified. Because of my veterinary experience, I am seasoned in taking care of all types of pets, from healthy puppies and kittens to dogs and cats with chronic medical conditions. I am known by my colleagues to be reliable, caring, and trustworthy, which is what every pet parent needs when leaving their beloved animals with a caretaker. Taking care of pets is truly a passion of mine, and I would be so happy to take care of yours.

Katera was great!

Katera was so accommodating for our diabetic kitty. We had some last minute schedule changes happen and she was so flexible to help us feel good about leaving. Our cat loved her visits and we truly appreciate being able to have peace of mind while we were away. Thank you, Katera!
