Pet care experience
I’ve been offering pet care on Rover since 2016, fostering dogs since 2017, and working in the veterinary field since 2018. In winter 2019/20, I completed a six-month internship at the Cougar Mountain Zoo. Animal care is my jam.

Highly recommend Kaitlynn. We received great updates and pictures of our dog while we were gone and returned home to a happy, healthy dog.
Katelynn went above and beyond to take care of our fur babies. She ensured our angry, scared cat got her meds and I was informed all along the way.
As always, we are so happy to have Katelynn stay with our fur family. I am always nervous to leave them for extended periods of time, but with Katelynn I know that they are going to be well loved and cared for. She always goes above and beyond and takes care of our home as well as our pets. I highly recommend Katelynn if you need someone to care for your fur babies! Thank you!!

Safety, trust & environment
Safety first! When I take your pup for a walk, keeping everyone safe is my top priority. This means I do not mix pets from different households, and I only pack walk dogs that are already accustomed to walking together. I avoid other animals and people whenever possible, and I carry bear spray for unexpected encounters. Retractable leashes are notoriously unsafe, so I’ll provide a standard leash if you don’t have one.

A typical day
Every pet has different needs, so I'm happy to meet them wherever they are. This could be potty breaks, walks, structured play, feeding, litter scooping, medicating, or some combination of those things! I’ve even had clients book a drop-in for help with nail trims or long hikes!
Services

Availability
I work part-time at a local animal hospital, and Rover work fits in around that schedule. When I'm house sitting, I frequently return home to check in. Note: I do not accept more than 15 nights of HS per month in order to maintain some quality time with my own pack.
