As a college student home for the summer, I fit pet care into my daily routine by planning around my work schedule and training. I work as a lifeguard in Temple and I'm a college athlete so I must get my workout in each day. I make time for feeding, walking, or checking in on pets, depending on what's needed. My schedule is flexible in the summer months.

A typical day
I love taking dogs on walks in their neighborhood because it is a new place for me to explore with them. If they are up for running, I can work that into my daily workout routine. I love a dog that can fetch! My golden would fetch for hours. I have 2 cats of my own and I love cats' big personalities. There really aren't 2 cats the same. Our barn cats have different personalities even if they aren't tame enough to cuddle.
