I’ve been caring for pets for over 14 years, and what really sets me apart is just how much I truly love animals. I’ve had pets my whole life, so I understand both the joy and the responsibility that comes with taking care of them. I also have experience with pets who need a little extra attention. My Yorkie was diagnosed with congestive heart failure in 2022, and until he passed in early 2024, I gave him his medication three times a day and made sure he was comfortable. That experience taught me a lot about administering medication and caring for pets with special needs—and it showed me just how important patience and consistency are (miss you, little buddy). Whether it’s a senior dog who needs gentle care or a high-energy puppy who’s still learning, I believe every animal deserves love, compassion, and quality care. At the end of the day, I treat every pet like my own. I’d be honored to meet your furry family member and make sure they’re happy, safe, and well cared for while you’re away.

Katelynn did such a great job of keeping my dog for a week. He is getting older and requires special food and medicine and she handled it with ease and understanding. I received daily updates and pictures the entire week also, which eased my worry on being away. Highly recommend Katelynn to watch your beloved pet!
Lots of play time, pictures, and updates. Yoda was in very good hands and we could relax knowing that he was!!!

Schedule
I work in office Monday through Thursday 7:30-4 and I am remote on Fridays and off on Saturdays and Sundays. I have an hour lunch break in which I am able to return home and let Barkley and any guests out to run and play for a bit if a stay during the week is requested.

I have a fenced in back yard and a big couch. I am a fan of watching TV with the dogs and relaxing at home or going on walks around my neighborhood if guests are in need of more exercise than my yard can provide.

My boy Barkley LOVES to run and play with friends. He is also a big fan of fetch and loves it when guests join in.
