My dog at home, Millie, is a very nervous dog overall so I am very patient and calm with her to make sure she is comfortable. I know when she wants to be left alone or when she wants to play or be pet. My cat is very independent but likes to be around people if he is not sleeping. He doesn’t love to be picked up or pet a lot so I just enjoy when he is present in the room.

Hi! My name is Katelyn and I love working with all kinds of animals! I volunteer at the Animal Humane Society in Coon Rapids as a Animal Care Assistent where I walk, engage, entertain, and comfort dogs of all kinds and sizes twice a week. I have taken care of dogs, cats, bunnies and chickens my entire life. I just enjoy being able to give animals the entertainment, exercise and love that they deserve.
