I am a disabled veteran that recently retired from the military. I have a lot of free time on my hands and I would like to spend this time doing the thing I love which is working with / spending time with animals. I am more than happy to care for your pet any time you need.

Growing up around so many pets, I’ve become accustomed to caring for animals with special needs. If there is anything I can do to make you and your pet feel more comfortable, I greatly encourage you to inform me.
A typical day
My activities with the pets I watch will be based on their personality and favorite hobbies. For example, some pets are very energetic and love to run around and play. For these types of pets, I would find their favorite toys to play with them, take them to a dog park (with parental discretion) or run around with them in a fenced area or yard. For other pets with a more moderate personality, I would take them for a slow short-paced walk, and give them lots of belly and head rubs.

I’ve grown up in a household full of furry family! I love caring for animals of all sorts and I’ve had experience with dog sitting for a few of my mom’s coworkers, dog walking through Care .com, and volunteering with military working dogs! I also have two cats of my own that are very friendly and love to play with new friends!

Katelyn did wonderful with our dogs! She sent wonderful pictures, made sure both received love, and they were getting enough play time to get energy out while being cautious of the heat!
