Hi! I’m Katy! I am a veterinary assistant working at McClelland Small Animal Hospital, and I’m pet sitting not only due to my love of animals, but to use the extra funds to help pay for my dream wedding! I’ve had pets my entire life, and I’m so fortunate to be able to help care for others' pets every day. I will love and treat your critters like they are my own, as taking care of animals is truly my passion. I currently work full time at an animal hospital and own 3 dogs, 2 cats, a crab, and even a jumping spider, so pet care is truly second nature to me. When I’m entrusted in caring for your pet and your home, I will be there all night and in the morning before I head into work. I will check on them during my lunch hour so they can have a potty break, lunch (if needed), play time, cuddles, and plenty of attention, before I'm back with them right after my work day. I'm always incredibly respectful of my clients homes, ensuring things are just as neat and tidy (if not more so) than they were when I arrived. Mail will be brought in, trash taken out, and bed linens cleaned. You're on a vacation, why worry about cleaning up when you get home?!

As the owner of pets who have trouble being removed from their “safe space,” you can rest easy knowing that your pets will receive plenty of love and care in the place they feel the most comfortable. During a meet and greet, I come prepared with an information sheet to fill out so that I can make sure I cater to each pets specific needs. Everything from feeding times, food sensitivities, and jotting down your pets favorite toys and activities!

Katy was so amazing with Louie! It was so comforting to know she has a bernedoodle of her own and we knew he would be in great hands while we were gone. I know Louie will be so excited to see her next time we need a sitter!
Katyln is one of the best, and I highly recommend. Lucy, Polly, and I had a great meet-and-greet before the stay, and the dogs instantly fell in love and were very comfortable. Katelyn is very buttoned up and has her clients fill out a Google Doc that covers everything about the dogs and the house. She is extremely thoughtful in her care, communication, and photo-sending. From Lucy, Polly, and my perspective, this was an A+++ experience.
Katy did an excellent job taking care of Comet. This was our first time using a dog sitter but she was a great communicator and made us feel very comfortable. We were happy to get frequent updates. She also took great care of our home and overall exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend her and would confidently have her care for Comet again in the future.
Katy did a great job following our normal routine. The dogs adored her. She was a great communicator and sent lots of cute pics.
Katie did a lengthy meet and greet with Brody and us then spent a week at our home with him. We received daily updates and pics allowing us to truly relax while we were away. He was in great hands with her! We appreciate that she took great care of him and our home (dishes, mail, etc). We highly recommend her and she will be the first person we reach out to stay with him again!!
Katy has watched our boys multiple times and every time she shows how caring, attentive, and kind she is. She goes above and beyond and is ALWAYS communicating so you feel at ease. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Schedule
The animal hospital I work for has a boarding facility for dogs and cats. When I’m not caring for others pets at work, I’m tending to my menagerie at home!
