I’m very comfortable with larger dogs and dogs who aren’t always perfect on the lead. I’ve walked German Shepherds and Huskies, and my own dog has had lead issues before, so I know some walks can be more “upper body workout” than gentle stroll. I’m confident with strong, excitable dogs and always keep walks calm, safe, and suited to the dog!

As I’m only offering house sitting, I’ll be caring for your pet in the place they know best — their own home. I always try to stick as closely as possible to their usual routine, whether that’s walks, feeding times, playtime, medication, or just the right amount of fuss and company. I know pets are usually much happier when they can stay in familiar surroundings, so my aim is to keep things calm, comfortable and as normal as possible while you’re away. I’ll treat your home with the same care and respect as I do your pet, and make sure they’re safe, settled and well looked after.

Schedule
Pet care fits very naturally into my routine, especially over the summer while I’m home from university. My schedule is generally very open, so I have plenty of time for walks, drop-ins and making sure pets get the attention they need. I also volunteer as an EMT, which means I work one night shift every 6 days, but aside from that I’m flexible and able to work around your pet’s routine!
