As the owner of 3 dogs and parent of 2 kids, safety is especially important to me. I will ensure gates and doors are closed and locked as needed, and unsafe items are kept out of reach. If your dog is a chewer, I will also make sure only approved toys are left with them. I also keep my own dogs in crates for their safety, so I am familiar with that as well.

I like to know if there is anything that makes your dog uncomfortable (sounds, noises, movements), or if there is something special in their routine they need done every day (treat, walk, medicine). I love all dogs, so I have no breed preferences :-)
A typical day
I will check on your dog and ensure they have ample water, food (if needed) and stimulation. If your dog needs extra pets, playtime, or encouragement to use the bathroom, I will do that. And if your dog is more of a couch potato, we can sit, watch TV, and gossip.

Pet care experience
My ideal Friday night is watching a movie on Netflix and petting as many dogs as possible. I have three dogs - a small chihuahua terrier mix and two >100 pound Ovcharkas - and I have been taking care of them since they were babies. All of my dogs have different personalities, so I know how to adapt myself to whatever the dog needs. I will come to your house, so your pet never has to leave the comfort of their home! I work from home which gives me the flexibility to check on your pet throughout the day.

Katelyn is the biggest dog-lover I know. Her own two dogs are given all the love and attention in the world daily, which is the same love and attention she would give to any dog that came across her path. People love her just as much, too. Extremely respectful and helpful, she would provide as many updates to clients as they'd like and do everything in her power to make sure both the client and their pet have the best experience possible.
