I’ve always been an animal lover and currently have both a Golden Retriever and a cat of my own, so I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs. I’m comfortable caring for both dogs and cats and providing walks, playtime, fetch, feeding, potty breaks, companionship, and plenty of attention. I know how important it is to have someone you can trust with your pets while you’re away. As a pet owner myself, I know how much peace of mind it gives me to know my own pets are with someone who will genuinely care for them, not just check in on them. I’m dependable, attentive, and will take the time to learn your pet’s normal routine so they can feel as comfortable and cared for as possible. I’m also very detail-oriented when it comes to following feeding schedules, household instructions, exercise routines, and any special preferences you have for your pet. Most importantly, I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and will treat your pets with the same affection and care that I give my own.

Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my priority. I take the time to learn each pet’s normal routine, personality, boundaries, and any specific instructions you provide. I’m careful with doors, gates, leashes, feeding routines, and anything else that helps keep your pet safe and comfortable. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect both their space and their established routine so they can remain in an environment that feels familiar to them. I’m attentive to changes in behavior, appetite, energy, or anything else that may seem unusual, and I believe in keeping owners updated so they can feel confident that their pet is safe, happy, and well cared for while they’re away.

She helped care for my dog while I was at work by coming to my house each day to take her for a walk. Afterward, she would spend extra time playing fetch with her in the backyard so she got plenty of playtime. Katelyn genuinely loves animals. I always felt comfortable knowing my dog was being well cared for during the day and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy dog walker or pet sitter.
Katelyn watched my two cats for a week while I was away on vacation, and I felt completely comfortable knowing they were in her care. She made sure they had everything they needed while I was gone. She genuinely loves animals and treats other people’s pets with the same care and affection she gives her own.

Schedule
I currently have a very flexible schedule while I work on my graduate degree, which gives me availability throughout the day to care for your pet as much as needed. I’m able to accommodate walks, potty breaks, feeding schedules, playtime, and plenty of companionship. Having this flexibility also allows me to spend quality time with your pet rather than simply stopping by and rushing through their care.
