I do have a full time job, therefore I am out of the house for 8-9 hours monday-friday. I have managed to house sit for multiple people with this schedule and it has worked out fine so far. I'm free on weekends so pet care is much easier to attend to. Regardless of this schedule, I will put your pets needs at the top of my list.

I have a fenced yard and no animals in my home currently. For over night stays, I prefer to stay at the clients home so your pets are comfortable and their schedules aren't disrupted too much. I am experienced in basic vet care and carry a well stocked pet emergency kit. For dog walks, I am free at night and on weekends and I'll take them to a local park where we can walk, or if you prefer your pet stay close to home, we can walk the neighborhood. I always have my phone on me.

Please let me know if there's anything special your dog needs. Do they like strangers? Are they hard of hearing or eyesight? Are they afraid of loud noises (fireworks) or sudden movements? I love large breeds (I've had Rottweilers over 100+ pounds), and I also like small breeds (definitely easier to handle that's for sure). But no breed is off limits.
A typical day
A typical day with your family member would include taking walks, playing fetch or tug a war. Brushing their coat and lots of petting. If you have a pup (or cat) who loves to just snuggle, we can do that too. There's always room for a good snuggle session with your fur baby.

Pet care experience
Pets are family. I will treat your pet like my own and give all the love and care that is required. I have extensive experience with dogs, cats, horses, ferrets, rabbits and guinea pigs. I have taken care of 5 horses 2 dogs and a bird all at once during a hurricane while the owner was away. Talk about stress, lol. We made it through just fine and the owner was ecstatic with her clean home and happy pets.

Katelyn did a great job staying with Ginger while we were on vacation. Our dog is a little particular and set in her ways so nativgating that can take a little time but Ginger has warmed up to her and we are so happy to have her as an option to know Ginger can stay at home and have the care she needs while we are away.
Katelyn always answered messages promptly and Griff was happy and healthy when we got home!
Great communication and willingness to work with us as our dog is a bit aggressive and untrusting of new people she doesn't know. Would highly recommend!
