I have always been a lover of animals, growing up around many dogs, cats, and farm animals of all shapes and sizes. I began caring for animals at a young age, and continue to center my life around my furry friends. Working with easily excited or skittish animals is my specialty as I have taken training through a Washington state rescue on dealing with animals with separation/new people anxiety. I hope to meet your best friend(s) soon!

I’ve been a dog sitter before too, so I know how important communication is and how you should leave someone’s house the way you found it or better. Katelyn did take care of the dogs and made sure they were fed, but honestly it didn’t start off great. She ended up getting there about 8 hours after the agreed 10am start time and couldn’t really give me an estimate on when she’d arrive, so since I left at 3am I had to scramble trying to find a friend to let my dogs out of their kennels/rooms so they could go potty and have water. Once she got there, she seemed to have a good time with the dogs and sent a few pictures here and there, but there really weren’t many updates. One thing that really bothered me though was the condition of the house afterward. I deep cleaned before leaving, and as someone who’s dog sat before, I always make sure to leave the house the same way I found it or cleaner. That wasn’t really the case here. My side table was in the middle of the living room, the couch was super messy, the floors were dirty, there was trash left around, the dining chairs weren’t pushed back in, and the rugs looked thrown around. I also never got a text saying she left or even a final update on how the dogs did, I only knew she was gone because of my Ring camera. So overall, she did care for the dogs, but I honestly wasn’t overly impressed with how everything was handled.
Katelyn was a great dog sitter! She took great care of my dogs kept me updated, and I could tell my dogs were happy and comfortable. I’d absolutely book with her again.
Katelyn was wonderful! She was able to step in and watch my dogs for me while I was out of town on a last minute work trip. She was communicative and sent lots of pictures. Will definitely rebook with her!

Schedule
I work part time as an event bartender usually from about 4pm-10pm plus commuting time. I will do my best to adhere to your pet's schedule around this.
