A dog's love is the best love
I have never met a dog I didn't like or didn't like me! There is a dog I pass on my morning walks, that whimpers out of excitement when she sees me from a distance and can’t wait for me to come pet her. Now, she could do this to all strangers that pet her, but I like to think I am special because it sure makes me feel special those mornings. I think dogs have a keen sense when it comes to those who truly love dogs or animals in general. I grew up with a black lab, and he was my world. I was 16 when we got him and was very involved in his training. I was able to help in potty training and with teaching him basic commands. It made me really want another dog in my life, but I am still in a phase of life where a dog is just not a possibility, but I want to still have them in my life, so what better way than to step in to provide for dog owners when they need the extra help? I have dog sat for a coworker’s two dogs, and really enjoyed being their caretaker. I also have a great bond with my mom’s dog (a mix) and my brother’s puppy (photographed – a Portuguese water dog). I am a reliable and very-willing sitter.

I am able to adapt to whatever your pet may need in your home. I understand some dogs require certain medications or additional things to their food at feedings or prefer certain routines.

Katelyn watched my family dog Casper for just about six days. She did so with only a couple weeks notice. She stayed at my family home and spent everyday with him, her schedule was flexible and she was reliable. She kept us updated with daily texts and photos so we felt more comfortable and relaxed while across the country. She was responsive and kind and Casper seemed to warm up to her. Would definitely recommend her services and would personally have her sit Casper again.

My shep mix rescue and my cat love when Kate comes to stay with them. Kate is reliable and responsible and cares for your pets as if they were her own. I hate to leave my pets, but when I do have to, knowing how much they love Kate and how well they're taken care of makes it so much easier.
Kate stayed at our house with our two dogs and took excellent care of them. She treated them as well as we do and I wouldn't hesitate to use her again!
Kate is one of the only people I trust to take care of my Portuguese Water Dog puppy. He can be a bit of a handful but she makes sure he is happy and stays out of trouble. Thanks!

Schedule
I work Monday-Friday 8:30-5, but am willing to make my schedule work with anyone and everyone. I work remotely one day a week. I am active in my church orchestra and have Wednesday evening rehearsals from 6:30-8pm and once a month Saturday rehearsal from 9am-12pm. These will be detailed depending on the dates for a stay. I'm happiest when I am busy and when I have something furry to look forward to!
