I have hands on experience training my two dogs Cora and Cooper both in obedience and in agility. This has allowed me to understand the importance of positive reinforcement and how to cater to individual dogs needs. In addition, I have professional dog sitting experience in a neighbors home, where I cared for and took them out for walks. This role has taught me how to approach and work with rescue dogs and adapt my care to different temperaments. I am attentive, patient and committed to providing excellent care and a safe environment for all pets.

I ensure that my dogs are fed and taken care of. I also love to take them out for walks and on car rides! As a dog owner I understand the importance of safety, maintaining routines, regular exercise and lots of attention. I will care for your pets as if they were my own, taking the time to learn their individual needs, personalities, and routines. My goal is to create a safe, trustworthy, and positive environment where both pets and their owners can feel confident and at ease.

Katelyn was amazing with my pup! It was his first time with a dog sitter and was nervous, she was very patient and kind with him, she knew what to do and if she had any questions she was on the ball with communication and updates. I’m so grateful for her and making this process easier for both myself and my pup!

Kate would be a great addition to your team. She is responsible and reliable whenever needed and whatever pet task was required. She was caring for my two pups, Pixie, a Shih Tzu and Lola, a Morkie and my now 24yr old cockatiel, Jimmie, from grade 8 until she left our community for university for all my work days and for Jimmie when I was away on vacation. Everyone in the household loves her and we still meet up in the park occasionally for a visit with her family dogs. Kate had a key to my home and was always trusted to do the job and leave happy pets for me to return to every day. She would definately be a great addition to your work team.

Schedule
I currently work part time which allows flexibility to provide pet care in the evenings and on the weekends. I am open to overnight stays during the week and weekend as well if needed. I am committed to ensuring that your pets receive reliable care, attention and companionship while you are away.
