Safety, trust & environment
My main goal when it comes to taking care of any furbaby is to try and keep things as close to their normal schedule as possible. Whether that means feeding multiple meals a day, providing ample bathroom breaks or walks, to sleeping arrangements from being in a crate to sleeping in bed with me; I do what’s best to make your pet happy and content while under my care.
Information Katelyn G. would like to know about your pet
It is important for me to know about any medical or behavioral concerns/issues ahead of time to make sure that I can provide the best care for your furry loved one.
A typical day
I have found that mental stimulation/games are just as important as physical ones. Whether that means going on a “sniff walk“ or playing hide and seek around the house (with myself or tasty treats), to working on basic obedience training. My job is to make your pet’s “stay-cation” the best one they will ever have.

Pet care experience
I have had the joy and privilege of caring for other people’s fur babies as if they were my own since I was 13 years old. From a young age, I always knew my life would revolve around animals, and that passion has only grown stronger over the years. Pet sitting isn’t just something I do — it’s something I truly love. In addition to years of hands-on pet sitting experience, I have been working in the veterinary medicine field since 2008. My veterinary background has given me extensive experience with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and ages, as well as cats and kittens. I am comfortable caring for senior pets, high-energy puppies, and those who may need a little extra patience and understanding. As part of my professional journey, I became Fear Free certified in both pet sitting and the veterinary field. This means I prioritize minimizing stress and creating a calm, positive environment for every pet in my care. I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their families are away. Because of my veterinary experience, I am confident and skilled in administering medications, including both oral and injectable medications. I also understand the critical importance of proper dosing and strict medication schedules, and I take timing requirements very seriously. Your pets’ safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. When they’re with me, they’re treated like the valuable family members they are.

Kept in touch the whole time we were gone and sent a ton of pictures
Katelyn is the best with my very anxious kitty. Even though my baby will hiss and swat initially at strangers that did not deter Katelyn from being as patient as can be to earn her trust. I trust her wholeheartedly with my furbabies and is the only person that has been able to earn the trust of my anxious girl.
Katelyn is one of the few people I trust to take care of my pets. I have three dogs and two cats, and each of them gets so excited when they see her! She is very caring and attentive to their needs. I will always highly recommend Katelyn to take care of your fur babies!!
