Hello, My name is Katelyn. I have 20+ years experience working with dogs. Formerly, the senior kennel and training manager at a canine training and boarding facility. I worked with dogs of all ages,sizes and breeds, as an instructor for private and group classes such as obedience ,agility and other dog performance sports. My responsibilities included doggy day care and dog boarding (over nights to extended stays and training camps) where care included nutrition, daily exercise, positive reinforcement, play, grooming and bathing. I have experience with dog first aid and CPR, as well as experienced and knowledgeable about medication administration including injectables.I joined Rover in May of 2019 to lend my experience and services to my local community. I look forward to building a relationship with not just dogs, but their owners as well. In addition to dogs, I also have extensive knowledge and experience caring for other animals. Not limited to but including cats, exotics, horses and farm animals. We’ve trusted Katelyn with our cats more than 25 times over the years, which is why this review is hard to write. Early in our recent booking, Katelyn missed her first scheduled visit. I later learned she had experienced a medical issue, but I didn’t know that until after I—and Rover—had spent time trying to reach her while I was traveling internationally. I completely understand that emergencies happen. Unfortunately, three additional scheduled visits were missed over the remainder of our trip, including the final day, and I never received an explanation for those missed visits. What ultimately changed my confidence wasn’t that plans changed—it was not knowing when I needed to step in and make other arrangements. We booked daily visits for peace of mind while we were 4,500 miles from home. Instead, I found myself checking cameras and door logs every day and coordinating backup care to make sure our cats were cared for. Our cats were ultimately okay, and I know they can safely go longer between visits than many other pets. A simple message letting me know plans had changed would have made all the difference. I sincerely hope Katelyn is doing well, but after this experience I won’t be booking with her again.
Katelyn has been great with my GSD puppy. On days that I work she does visits for exercise/potty time. My puppy loves her and is always excited to see her.
So grateful for Katelyn. Super accommodating, super flexible, and our pup loves her!

Honestly this wasn’t a great experience. She was consistently late and communication was poor. I was away for my brother’s wedding, and couldn’t focus on enjoying the day because I was worried about whether or not my dog had been checked in on yet. I even had to get a neighbor to run in and check on him. I also never received any Rover cards. My boy was still walked, and fed, and perfectly okay when we got back, so I appreciate that, but I wouldn’t rebook.
