Available from June 1, 2026 About me: I am an all around animal lover with extensive experience. I just completed the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in Melbourne, Australia and after 4 years away, am back in Vancouver. I have worked in ER hospitals for the past 7 years and am very confident in how to handle urgent or critical emergencies, if anything ever happened. I also have a degree in biological sciences and also worked in a post-secondary biology lab, where I cared for a variety of reptiles, amphibians and marine animals. During my degree, I volunteered at the Vancouver Aquarium feeding and maintaining the amphibians in the 'frogs forever' section, for one year. I also volunteered at the Wildlife Rescue Association for two years, where I cared mostly for injured wild birds and occasionally small mammals. Several years before my degree I volunteered at a cat clinic and have experience caring for animals post-surgery. I have always been a pet owner and was raised with two large family dogs (german shepherd and rottweiler-lab cross). I have been on pet sitting sites for over 10 years in both Vancouver and Melbourne, where I have taken care of and loved over 100 pets, including cats, dogs, rabbits, and more! I currently am not hosting any pets in my home unless it is the right fit, but I have pet sat in many other homes and am respectful, reliable and tidy.

Ben and Katelyn were absolutely phenomenal pet and house sitters. They were caring about our animals and were able to calmly and reliably handle a difficult situation that arose with one of our dogs. High recommend them. Reliable and solid pair of pet sitters.
Katelyn is an excellent pet sitter!! Our cat Spring Roll is really shy and scared around new people. Katelyn was so caring with her and sent us pictures each day. It made us feel at ease while we were away knowing Spring Roll was in such good hands. I would definitely recommend Katelyn and will book with her again for sure!!
