This works especially well for live-in pet care, as I’m able to maintain your pet’s routine, provide companionship, and ensure they’re not left alone for long periods. I can easily structure my day around feeding times, walks, play, and any specific care needs.

A typical day is centred around your pet’s routine. For dogs, this includes walks, playtime, and regular check-ins throughout the day. For cats, I balance play, stimulation, and companionship with respecting their independence. I enjoy spending quality time with pets — whether that’s cuddling, interactive play, or simply being a calm presence so they feel relaxed and secure.

I cared for my own cat for 18 wonderful years, which gave me a deep understanding of how pets change over time and what they need at different stages. I’ve also pet sat for many friends, including multi-pet households — one family I regularly support has three dogs and a cat — so I’m very comfortable managing different personalities, energy levels, and routines. What sets me apart is my ability to read and adapt to each pet’s unique temperament. I love spending time with affectionate, social pets, but I’m equally mindful of giving space to those who are more independent or need time to warm up. I always let the pet set the pace. I’m attentive to routines, feeding schedules, walks, and specific care needs, including administering medication when required. My goal is to create a calm, low-stress environment so your pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away.
