Summary: I am a full time Supervisor for a financial institution who started Rover in 2018 to help pay for college and decompress from the stress of triple-majoring. My experience (apart from the Rover experience with 300+ bookings) includes training and caring for service dogs for Heartland K9s for Veterans for two years as a volunteer in college, two years with ASPCA as a volunteer, and several local shelters have me “on call” for extenuating circumstances.

When it comes to house sitting, I try to keep your pet’s schedule the same as if you were there. I provide overnight care and when I am not taking care of my prior engagements at work or with other clients, I am with your pet probably spoiling them! For dog boarding, I only take one household of pups at a time, so it will just be your pups and my two cats, who mind their own business and generally stay in a bedroom that dogs are not permitted to enter. I have a very large and secure fenced in back yard, and I am located by Rentschler park. which means LOTS of trails and long walks for your pup, maybe even a pup cup if they are allowed!

Katelin is amazing! She is wonderful with my pups and sends pictures and videos to make sure I get to see them while I'm away. She takes extra care to give them all the attention I would give them if I were home with them and that means the world to me!! She is very communicative and kind.
Katelin was amazing!! She took the best care of my pups and sent me the cutest video and photos. I could tell how happy they were in the pictures. So thankful for the amazing care she gave to them when I couldn't be there!!
Katelin was fabulous with our older dog! She provided frequent updates and even tips on behavior that she noticed. Katelin clearly loves animals, and I highly recommend her!
Katelin is wonderful. I was scrambling a bit to find someone for a night when my regular sitter wasn’t available. Katelin replied right away and came to meet my boys the same day. Excellent communication, updates and pictures while I was away, and always a quick response to any message I sent. All around, a lovely human. She took great care of my boys and I am just so grateful that I found her. : )
Katelin did such a good job with my two cats! The notes and pictures she sent of them made me feel very comfortable that they were well cared for. I will definitely be using Katelin’s services for the next time I travel!

Schedule
I took my last two Rover clients in 2023 after 5 years of doing it full time while also taking 28 hour semesters in college. Tucker and Gunner, 12 and 13, lost their owner while under my care, so I welcomed them into my home as permanent family members and loved the heck out of them. Recently, their diabetes, arthritis, blindness, cancer, and other ailments took them away from me JUST before we closed on our house with a lovely back yard just for my boys. Although I am a full time supervisor at a local credit union, (M-F 8:30-5), I miss having happy pups in my life, and my backyard is so empty. Tucker and Gunner taught me how to best care for senior and special needs dogs. I am comfortable with handling any needs your pup requires to be happy in my home or yours while you are away! (Medicines, injections, and all the goofy “extras” that come with caring for a senior dog.. yes, even if you sing Fido a bed time story every night).
