I grew up caring for all kinds of animals - large and small animals - and have never not had a pet. I grew up working in my mother's vet clinic, where I learned quite a bit about working with animals. I worked for another vet in college. Currently, I live less than a mile from an excellent one. I have a spayed Bernese mountain dog, she enjoys other dogs and is very friendly. She's a bit of a goofy, submissive, friendly giant. I am also very close to a huge park to walk in. I have one rarely seen cat. I love to walk and be outdoors, and dogs are the perfect excuse to get outside! I usually work from home, so my availability is pretty flexible.
