I have spent my life with animals, especially dogs! I have experience as a Veterinary Assistant, pet sitter, and I have worked with dogs on basic obedience training and manners. I earned my dog training certification in basic obedience, focusing on positive reinforcement techniques. My own pets are part of the family and treated with love, respect and compassion. I will extend that same care to your precious pets and communicate regularly to make sure you feel secure knowing your pets are being cared for. I can provide drop in visits to feed, care for and play with your pets. It is a privilege and joy to spend time with dogs. I also offer cat care with drop in visits! I have many years of experience caring for and enjoying kitty companions. I have always had a cat at home and as a previous Veterinary Assistant, I had the privilege of working with cats too. I’m usually able to befriend our shy kitties with gentleness and patience. Please contact me if you are looking for care for your special cat or cats while you are away! At this time, my schedule only allows me to be available for earlier morning or mid day drop ins during weekdays. I may have more flexibility for weekend days.

Safety, trust & environment
I am extremely conscientious about arrivals and departures around the door, ensuring pets stay inside when I leave. I do not walk dogs in extreme hot temperatures but I am happy to let them outside in your yard for potty breaks and short play times.

Kate was awesome with my 2 cats while I was out of country. 1 cat injured herself somehow and Kate stepped in to take her to the vet and get some meds. I appreciate the quality care so much!

This is the first time that we use Kate’s drop in services and we are very satisfied. She is very friendly, kept me up to date of everything and did a great job with my bernedoodle puppy. She left our house in great condition. We were feeling nervous about having someone come to our house but now we feel much more comfortable. Thank you very much!
