Hello, I'm Kate. I'm a fully insured pet sitter and I'm DBS checked. I love cats and have lived with them my entire life. I currently have three of my own - including two with disabilities. I'm well used to inside-only and inside/outside cats and all the many wonderful quirks cats can have. I've previously fostered for Cats Protection and have owned cats with chronic conditions that require daily medication, special routines and special diets. Over the years I've cared not just for my own cats and foster placements but also for many friends' cats when they've been away. More recently I've started branching out into running a professional catsitting and cat care business. I'm just as happy with kitten chaos as I am with oldies who like their routine. If you give me the privilege of looking after your cats I promise to treat them as I would my own: lots of fuss, games, cuddles, chats and an eagle eye for anything amiss. Now for the boring bits: Away from cat sitting I work full time as a Civil Servant and hold National Security Vetting "security clearance" - which includes being DBS checked and checked for financial irregularities and dodgy connections. I'm insured with Pet Business Insurance, which includes public liability and professional indemnity insurance. Additionally all my earnings are declared (I'm registered with HMRC for Self-Assessment).

I will care for your cat however they and you prefer it. Whether that's ensuring they have plenty of indoor play, keeping an eye on the cat flap, letting them in/out, or just maintaining their cosy environment indoors. I'll care for them and your home like I do with my own pets and home ensuring the safety of your beloved pets and your property.

Thank you for taking care of our little fur baby! Kate has been absolutely amazing in looking after Missy while we were on a 8 days holiday, providing updates with each visit alongside a lot of photos and videos and detailed descriptions of the visit. Her storytelling is close to none and she definitely knows her ways around cats as we've came back to a happy and well cared for cat. Please don't look twice when searching for someone to look after your fur babies. I know I won't in the future and will definitely book her again! Thanks, Kate!

Schedule
I work from home part of the week and am flexible for a lot of the rest of the week so I can fit my routine around your cats. Some days - if you prefer and if my schedule allows - I can spend a bit of time working in your home if you have wifi. Otherwise I'll visit morning and/or evening - whatever you'd like.
- CatsKate can host up to 4 drop-ins per day
- I can adapt my visits to your cats' needs. Whether that's automatic feeders and litter robots, special diets, daily meds or specific games I can do it. I always have a chat with owners beforehand about any dos and don'ts and any preferences and I always respect your instructions when it comes to treats or simply caring for your cats and your home.
